Travel possibilities of Krasnoyarsk Territory were presented at two international venues: in the east - in Beijing, and in the west - in St. Petersburg.
In China on October 12th was an opening ceremony of the national tourism office of Russia “Visit Russia”. One of its main purposes is a promotion of the image of Russia as modern, safe and prosperous country and a comfortable travel destination. It is important for development tourism connection between China and Russia.
National office presented content about tourism possibilities of Krasnoyarsk Territory. In presentation tour Russian Tourism Road Show «Visit Russia-2015» with cooperation of the Federal Agency for Tourism of the Russian Federation and tour operator “Open Siberia”. They told about sightseeing attractions of Siberia and introduced unique arctic trips extended to Dickson Island. Visitors and participants of the event discussed expectations about new routes for traveling from China to Russia.
From 8th to 10th October was held the biggest tourism exposition in north-west of Russia INWETEX-CIS Travel Market in St. Petersburg. Krasnoyarsk Territory participated as a “Siberia” brand with six tour operators and tourism information portal VISITSIBERIA.
Exposition presented tourism offices, regional managements connected with tourism and information centers, tour operators and agencies, tourism associations, insurance companies, logistic and other organizations connected with tourism.
Stand of Krasnoyarsk territory was visited by Alla Manilova, Deputy of Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation and Olga Yarilova, Director of the Department of Tourism and Regional Policy of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. Specialists of a tourism sector from Ministry of Culture of the Krasnoyarsk Territory introduced new routes, including ethno-tour in Khatanga, eco-tour on Anabar plateau, summer fishing trips and many other. Visitors of a stand could make a photo in costume with reindeer in the background or send a postcard “from Siberia” using an improvised post-office.
During the INWETEX-CIS Travel Market employees of the tourism sector have established cultural and business relations with the representatives of the tourism industry of St. Petersburg and a number of foreign countries.
